Agency Agents, presented as The Agency, is a growing collection of meticulously crafted AI agent personalities. Each agent is described as a specialized expert with a distinct voice, processes, and concrete deliverables. The project includes a native desktop app for macOS, Linux, and Windows that browses the roster and installs agents into supported tools, plus scripts for command-line and multi-tool integration.
Key Features
- Specialized agents with deep domain expertise rather than generic prompt templates.
- Personality-driven voices, communication styles, and approaches for each agent.
- Deliverable-focused profiles with code examples, workflows, and success metrics.
- Production-ready agent workflows described as battle-tested.
- Native desktop app for macOS, Linux, and Windows that browses the roster, installs agents with a click, and auto-updates.
- Script-based installation and multi-tool integration, including selection by division or individual agent.
Use Cases
- Activate a specialist mode inside Claude Code sessions, such as Frontend Developer mode for building a React component.
- Install selected divisions or individual agents into supported tools such as Cursor, Codex, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot, and OpenCode.
- Use agent files as reference material to adapt identity, workflows, technical deliverables, and success metrics.
- Browse and install the roster through the native desktop app or command-line scripts.
Getting Started
- Install the native Agency Agents app for macOS, Linux, or Windows to browse the roster and install agents into supported tools.
- On a Mac, install the app with: brew install --cask msitarzewski/agency-agents/agency-agents.
- For Claude Code, run ./scripts/install.sh --tool claude-code to install all agents, or copy engineering markdown files into ~/.claude/agents/.
- For other supported tools, run ./scripts/convert.sh to generate integration files, then run ./scripts/install.sh and select a target tool.
Deployment & Requirements
- The native app is available for macOS, Linux, and Windows.
- Script-based installation uses the repository scripts install.sh and convert.sh and supports Claude Code and other listed development tools.
- OpenCode installations should use a subset selected with --division because of its runtime registration limit.
Before You Adopt
- License: MIT. Review its terms before using, modifying, or distributing the project.
- OpenCode's runtime may silently drop agents beyond its registration limit, so install a subset with --division and heed installer warnings.
