GEOInflow is a self-hosted system for web and AI crawler analytics focused on Generative Engine Optimization. It brings website visitors, AI search referrals, server crawl logs, and content inventories into a shared website context so teams can inspect crawler activity, content coverage, access problems, and AI referral outcomes.
Key Features
- Built-in catalog covers AI crawler identities and request purposes from providers including OpenAI, Anthropic, Perplexity, Google, ByteDance, Baidu, Kimi, and Tencent Hunyuan.
- Crawl activity analytics include requested-page rankings, repeated requests, directory distribution, leading crawlers, recent activity, and content freshness.
- Content inventories imported from sitemap, CSV, or JSON can be compared with observed crawl logs to measure coverage and AI blind spots.
- Website analytics cover pageviews, visitors, events, goals, funnels, visitor paths, attribution, search engines, UTM, heatmaps, retention, and audiences.
- AI referral sessions can be combined with landing pages, events, goals, and conversions while remaining separate from crawler requests.
- Operational features include ingestion checks, historical data repair, analytics acceleration, and source and rule versioning.
Use Cases
- Company websites, content sites, media publishers, developer documentation teams, and GEO teams managing multiple sites can use GEOInflow.
- Teams can identify which AI crawlers visit a site, which pages they request, and which important pages have no observed crawl activity.
- Operators can investigate blocked or failing requests using HTTP status, caching, latency, errors, and risk signals.
- Analysts can observe how AI search contributes visitors and conversions alongside standard website analytics.
Getting Started
- Start Docker Engine or Docker Desktop and Docker Compose V2, then run sh scripts/liekan-deploy.sh from the project root.
- The default address after deployment is http://127\.0\.0\.1:3002\.
- For a fresh installation, the initial username is admin and the initial password is liekan; change the password after signing in.
- To try the bundled example, run docker compose -f docker-compose.liekan.yml exec app node scripts/liekan-seed-demo.mjs.
Deployment & Requirements
- Docker Engine or Docker Desktop and Docker Compose V2 are required.
- Image and dependency download sources must be reachable.
- Production access requires a domain, HTTPS, and a trusted reverse proxy.
- Automatic server collection requires public HTTPS, an ingestion secret, and signed installation assets.
- Cloudflare integration also requires OAuth, permissions, and the relevant provider capabilities.
Before You Adopt
- License: MIT. Review its terms before using, modifying, or distributing the project.
- GEO Weight is marked beta and uses a fixed 30-day calculation policy with documented evidence and limitations.
- AI analysis is optional and disabled by default; enabling it requires choosing model connections and website materials.
- Automatic server collection and Cloudflare integration require additional external configuration and permissions.
- Some GEO-related outcomes require additional data beyond the system's observations.
