HQBase is an open-source shared email workspace for teams that runs in the customer's Cloudflare account. It provides shared mailboxes, team access controls, multi-domain setup, drafts, audit history, and an OAuth-protected remote MCP server for AI clients. Mail and credentials remain in infrastructure the customer controls.
Key Features
- Shared mailboxes with team access controls for managing permissions by mailbox.
- Multiple domains and mailboxes in one workspace, with drafts and audit history.
- Email via MCP: AI clients connect over OAuth to search, draft, reply, and send.
- A desktop and mobile PWA client with self-hosted push notifications for access anywhere.
- Runs in the customer's Cloudflare account, so the Worker, D1 mail index, and R2 attachments stay theirs.
- Installation, update, backup, and recovery operations with release verification and rollback support.
Use Cases
