Void is a CLI, platform, and full-stack SDK that unifies building and deploying apps. It supports building and deploying full-stack apps with Vite on Cloudflare Workers, with server routes, pages, typed APIs, databases, storage, AI, and one-command deployment workflows.
Key Features
- Void SDK provides file-based API routes, server-rendered pages, and typed APIs for databases, storage, and AI, carrying types from database queries to the UI.
- Void CLI builds apps, provisions Cloudflare resources, applies migrations, deploys, manages resources, inspects logs, and rolls back.
- Void Platform installs a shared deployment environment in your Cloudflare account for teams or customers, with access controls, resource limits, usage reporting, and connected applications.
- SDK features are optional and composable; you can use React, Vue, Svelte, or Solid for Void pages or keep a supported application framework.
- Void supports TanStack Start, SvelteKit, Nuxt, and more through adapters, and can build APIs, SPAs, or server-rendered pages.
- npx void deploy builds the app, provisions resources, applies database migrations, and prints the deployed URL.
Use Cases
- Build and deploy full-stack Vite apps on Cloudflare Workers.
- Let a team build and deploy apps with coding agents while admins retain control of Cloudflare access.
- Self-host a shared Void Platform in your Cloudflare account for your team or customers.
- Build APIs, SPAs, or server-rendered pages with supported Vite frameworks.
Getting Started
- Use Node.js 24.21.0 or later. In an empty directory, run npm install -D void, npx void init, and npm run dev.
- Choose your UI framework and starter, then select Cloudflare to deploy to your account.
- Run npx void deploy to build the app, provision resources, apply database migrations, and print the deployed URL.
- To deploy to a team platform, run npx void connect <url> first, then use the same deploy command.
Deployment & Requirements
- Node.js 24.21.0 or later.
- A Cloudflare account as the deployment target for npx void deploy.
- For team platform deployment, run npx void connect <url> before deploying.
