Pomerado
Pomerado is an open-source core harness that turns websites, including sites without an API, into deterministic MCP integrations built from natural-language task descriptions. It supports sites behind login and two-factor authentication.

Pomerado is an open-source core integration minting harness that builds MCP integrations for websites, including sites without an API. It turns a natural-language task description into a deterministic integration by exploring the site, completing an example, and generalizing the interaction. The integrations can work behind login and two-factor authentication and are saved as source code that agents can call.
Key Features
- Builds MCP integrations from a natural-language task description, without requiring a HAR file or recording.
- Produces deterministic integrations intended to be faster and more reliable than computer use.
- Works on sites behind login and two-factor authentication.
- Uses a real Chromium browser, with Guardian reviewing browser actions and the finished source during minting.
- Saves integrations as owned source code with schemas, deployment metadata, and an MCP server entry.
- Runs as a standard MCP stdio server exposing mint, get_job, provide_input, and cancel_job tools.
Use Cases
- Create a read-only integration that extracts information from a website without an API.
- Create a write integration for tasks such as submitting a form or making a booking.
- Connect websites behind login and two-factor authentication to an agent through deterministic MCP tools.
- Run each integration locally as its own MCP server for supported clients.
Getting Started
- Check the Node version with node --version; Pomerado requires Node 24.21 or a later Node 24 release.
- Install Pomerado and Chromium with npx -y -p pomerado pomerado-mcp --help and npx -y -p pomerado playwright install chromium.
- Configure an MCP client to run Pomerado as a standard MCP stdio server, using an absolute --root path for integrations.
- Set OPENAI_API_KEY in the server environment; minting uses OpenAI models, while running integrations makes no model request.
- Ask the agent to mint an integration by naming the site, describing the task, and choosing read or write authority.
Deployment & Requirements
- macOS or Linux.
- Node 24.21 or a later Node 24 release.
- Chromium installed for the minter to drive.
- An OpenAI API key for minting.
- An MCP client that runs local servers, such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, VS Code, Claude Desktop, or Gemini CLI.
Before You Adopt
- License: MIT. Review its terms before using, modifying, or distributing the project.
- Minting depends on OpenAI models and requires an OpenAI API key.
- Each mint has a bounded active-work window of 20 minutes, excluding time spent waiting for user answers.
- Sign-in typing is limited to the site and configured sign-in origins, and Pomerado does not check where the page's own scripts send typed data.
- Canceling a job does not guarantee that an action already sent to a website did not take effect.
